Nougatine is the informal sister restaurant of the acclaimed 3-michelin-star Jean-Georges, located on the ground floor of the Trump International Hotel.

Needless to introduce Jean-Georges Vongerichten – not only is he one of the world’s most famous chefs, he has created his own French gastronomy temple and a true culinary empire in New York City (with eleven restaurants in Manhattan alone!) and across the globe.

Nougatine at Jean-Georges entrance by Central Park –

Nougatine is an upscale-casual French restaurant adjacent to the chef’s eponymous fine dining restaurant, in a stylish, contemporary space overlooking Central Park. The setting is classy and inviting, with a modern decor in a bright room with huge picture windows. Make sure you ask for seats by these windows or at the other end of the dining room by the glassed open kitchen.

On a nice day, make a reservation on their terrace overlooking Central Park

During warmer months, you can get the full Nougatine menu at the Terrace at Jean-Georges, their beautiful outdoor patio designed by Philippe Starck (separate booking for the terrace).

The Terrace at Jean-Georges

Any restaurant in New York that has the names Jean and Georges linked to it is a guaranteed satisfaction for your taste buds! Nougatine is no exception. Nougatine‘s market-driven menu has long been in the shadow of its michelin-rated sister, but offers high-quality and much more affordable menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner. and Sunday brunch. The recipes are simple, but with Jean-George’s signature refined touch.

Come for lunch Monday through Saturday for their prix-fixe steal-deal!

The best time to come is for lunch: Nougatine has one of the best lunch deals in the city, with a $38 three-course prix-fixe -> a steal! A $98 five-course tasting is available for dinner, but you can order à la carte for all meals as well.

Don’t expect to save on drinks though 😕  – Nougatine expectantly has an extensive wine list, with a great selection of bottles from all over the world (with a specific focus on French wines of course), but at a price. You can also order wines by the glass and cocktails at an average of $20 each.

Nougatine at Jean-Georges is the perfect place for a corporate lunch, to bring your parents, or prior a Lincoln Center show.
